The movie is from the same Team that made 2002's hit film - Dhill. The movie starts with our hero, Vikram(very clear age is catching his youth but this role is tailor made for him) and his village Kutti, Jyothika(comes with her Belly shortened by a few inches, has played a neat role) coming to Chennai along with Jyothika's grand mother to meet the minister, Shayaji Shinde, for his help in sealing a Pollution Factory in their village. They stay, in Vivek's house, Vivek's comedy is a good boost for this movie, U Might hate his often repeated, Histrionics, but u cant resist ur laughter, spilling out. Reema Sen(Kadavuley Kadavuley), a model staying in the same compound, adds the required glamour. Vikram, Jyothika meet the minister, who promises help but asks them to stay in chennai for some time, to settle the matter. The initial scenes r funny and make the movie lively. One fine day, Vikram, accidently runs into a Dada element. Vivek, warns Vikram, saying he is the brother of a famous Lady Dada, Sornam(Telengana Shangunthala, this performance is something new to Tamil Audience, her looks r threatening, her talks r Intimidating, wonderful imitation of a lady dada). Sornam, is the lieutenant of Shyagi Shinde(who is a bad, corrupt minister).During a Bandh, where that same Dada, again mis-behaves with Jyothika, Vikram, intervenes, in the meelee breaks that Dada's hand. Sornam, is made to stand as an Independent in a bye election by Shyaji shinde. Sornam, wows to finish Vikram after the election. The scenes slowly builds the tempo. During, the elections, Sornam's henchmen, resort to Bogus Voting, again in the cinematic process of Tamil Cinema, in comes Jyothika, that Dada again mis-behaves, in comes Vikram(as a rule), whips everyone royally, hand them over to the Inspector. Vikram is now forced to take back the complaint, by Shayaji Shinde, Vikram is shocked with Shayji's behaviour, refuses, is given a huge beating. Vikram now wows to expose Shyaji's true colous to the public. The Shakeela Incident, where Shyaji's signature is mis-used by Vikram, is at the innovative best by the Director. The second half runs with the one on one between Vikram and Shinde. What happened in the end?? Did Vikram's reach his Goal?? is for u all to find out and enjoy in the Silver Screen. The movie is on the lines of Dhill, without any doubt, but Dhool is a bigger line than Dhill. The music by Vidyasagar is good. The song: Singampola Nadanthu.. sung by 'Paravai' Muniyamma, leaves the audience at the whistling and dancing best, another innovative attempt by the director and the melody Aasai Aasai, is certainly good. The major plus point is, no scene leaves u, talking with ur next seat friend. With a good mix of comedy, action, songs, glamour and sentiment, the movie is a sure hit.
