Remark: An unconventional cop for good results

A sure hit. Director Hari, has mixed well the right ingredients for a success film. The movie is set in Tirunelveli. The movie starts with Vikram walking straight upto a Wine shop, washing his face with beer and eating Idly with beer. He spends time with the rowdys to understand crime in the town and then breaks the suspense…he is the new Deputy Commissioner of Police. There is this all powerful villain who has a strong political backing. Vikram understands that he will not be able to suppress him and so plays his side. He accepts bribe from this dada which he forwards to the PM's fund. At the same time he gets good things for the town done through the Villain. Vikram falls in love with the beautiful Trisha. The film has a lot of interesting twists involving police, rowdies and general public. At one stage Vikram rubs on the wrong end of the Dada and then comes the fast paced second half. The movie on the whole is fast paced. Thanks to the screenplay of Hari. The climax is very different. The film will be liked by all. Music is by Harris Jeyaraj. All the songs are already a hit and with the success of the movie, the songs will reach great heights too. Vivek's comedy not impressive. Vikram has played his role with ease and style. When he says "Nan Police Illai Porikki", the crowds stand and applaud. Trisha looks great and may reach the top slot. Saamy is an excellent entertainer for all ages.
